Loyal Family & Connector are proud to bring the Drink The Sea Tour to St. Louis this May, featuring three of L.A.’s most prominent electronic acts: The Glitch Mob, Free The Robots, and Deru.

THE GLITCH MOB
Selling out major venues from coast to coast simply by word of mouth, The Glitch Mob has become a festival favorite, rocking crowds from Lollapalooza to Red Rocks to upcoming key slots at Coachella and Ultra with their visceral, innovative performances. “Pairing the richness and headiness of the best dance music with the head-nodding backbeats of hip-hop, they only aim to move you, and they by and large succeed,” raved the Los Angeles Times. And this spring, the L.A.-based trio embarks on their first full nationwide tour in support of The Glitch Mob’s debut album release Drink the Sea, due May 25 on the band’s own Glass Air label. Drink The Sea represents The Glitch Mob’s transformation up from the underground into a more widescreen vision: from the cryptic cover art (courtesy Sonny Kay, famed for his work with Mars Volta) to the kaleidoscopic dimension of the music inside, Drink The Sea evokes a voyage into the unexpected—including sonic waters previously unexplored by the band itself.

FREE THE ROBOTS
From Elsewhere comes Free the Robots, a balance of everything that is music. The Robot sound pays homage to the past with a drive for the future blending elements of Jazz, Hip Hop, Electronica, Bossanova, Experimental, Soul, Psychedelic, Rock, etc.

DERU
Deru is Benjamin Wynn, an electronic music producer from Los Angeles. His music is best described as an amalgamation of hip-hop, electronica and IDM. Deru started producing music in high school and later obtained a degree is music technology from CalArts. He now resides in LA where he composes music for televison, film, dance and performance art. Ben is a co-owner of a music and sound company called “The Track Team”. Their work on “Avatar: The Last Airbender”, earned an MPSE Golden Reel award nomination for best sound design in 2009.

SPANKALICIOUS
Kevin Moore is Spankalicious, the warehouse party rocker. Known throughout the state lately for supporting acts like Pretty Lights, EOTO, BoomBox, and Ana Sia; Spanky and the Rage Mob will definitely raise the energy level in the building and leave you on tilt.

Ages: 18+
Price: $20 in adv/$25 dos

<< BOMBAMAN >> (dubstep,electronica)
//LOdubs// Fresh-Kid// Badman Press
Toronto, Canada
http://www.myspace.com/m4ttc4rl

Bombaman aka one half of the dubstep duo Loetech with XI from Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
As Kid Kameleon put it in his column "Basic Needs" in the December 2007 issue of XLR8R, he makes dark, weird, boundary pushing music for you to meditate to in a club with large speakers.
These days he is working on making sure his beats live up to that expectation. Always looking for a new way to mangle sub bass, you can find him pushing out new music every week in the form of 4/4, electro tinged dubstep. With forthcoming releases on Nightshifters, Hot n Heavy and Sub Philo, and releases already available on Lo Dubs, Aufect Recordings, Dim Mak and Big Dada you can be sure there is a Bombaman sound suited to you.
Working with XI for the past four years producing music and performing on their radio show Loetech Radio courtesy of SUB.FM, he has traveled across North America including Chicago, San Francisco, Montreal, Vancouver and New York in search for the perfect sound system.
You can hear Crookers, Rusko, Diplo, 12th Planet, DZ, Starkey, Stenchman, the Trouble & Bass crew and many other top shelf DJ's playing his music these days, so keep an ear to ground, he might be in your city next.

<< DAVID FIELDS >>(dubstep, electro)
//Nasty Rumor//
St. Louis, MO
http://nastyrumor.info/
http://www.electrolouis.com/

Since picking up his first guitar in 2003, David Fields has been inspired by music of all ranges and genres from classical, to blues, to jazz, to metal. After two years of music theory, Fields began to discover the underground electronic music production scene with a profound interest in the heavy synthesizers and fluid basslines that inspire him today. Then, in 2007, Fields got his first pair of turntables, a year later began his partnership with Electrolouis, and the rest was history! Inspired by such artists as Sub Focus, Excision, Calvertron, Lee Mortimer, and Bassnectar, David Fields has began quickly making a name for himself in the past year by releasing his massive stage energy while dropping the loudest, crunchiest and most wobblely basslines around! Looking forward through 2010 with bookings alongside DJ SOLO, Shanksta, and many of STL's best as well, David Fields is sure to be a commonly heard name in STL's underground music scene! Expect HIGH energy on stage as well as seemless loops and clean mixes from bassline to bassline!

UnderGround Sound 6 UGS6

NOT MY SHOW - BUT IM PROMOTING IT A LIL, CUZ EVERYONE SHOULD GO TO THIS!!!! It WILL BE THE EDMF of the SUMMER fa SHO!(GET TIX NOOOOWWWW!)

Last year we saw the evolution of UnderGround Sound creating a new realm of Electronic Music Festival. A decade ago it was common place for people to travel from far and wide to congregate for like minded enthusiasts for a weekend of fun. The experience of traveling and communing with those from other parts of the world, sharing experiences, and forging bonds of friendship to withstand time and distance has been long lost to many. We have worked hard to keep this alive and have laid a great foundation for a new decade of music, friendship, fun and evolution.
This year we will be topping last years production on the blue stage, but there is more!
Sonic Bloom will be traveling from Colorado and taking over the red stage to include the Sonic Bloom experience as a realm in our circus of UGS. We are excited to bring such a strong presentation of the divergent sounds and scenes in EDM into one camp fest with a special performance by one of the most legendary stage shows in EDM history!

“Crossing the Event Horizon”

The Unified Field Theory of scientist Nassim Haramein

Presented by Jamie Janover, emissary for Nassim Haramein & The Resonance Project

Have you ever wondered about how the universe works? How we fit in? Have you experienced the micro-macro dynamics of existence, or sensed it? Do you feel, or instinctually know that everything truly is “all one”? Or felt that science has been looking in the wrong direction? Focusing on exclusive material particles, rather than inclusive fundamental principles? Where is the cohesion in the chaos? Have you ever wondered what ancient societies may have known or experienced that we have either discarded or forgotten? And where did they learn it?

When Jamie Janover first saw scientist Nassim Haramein speak he was totally blown away. Nassim was actually able to tie together everything into one cohesive unification theory – EVERYTHING: from cosmology to quantum mechanics, sacred geometry, ancient cultures, religious texts, Einstein's relativistic theories (with an added spin component) and even the nature of consciousness....

Jamie is one of 12 "emissaries" that went to Hawaii in January 2008, where Nassim himself taught people to give his presentation, in great detail, on his life's work - a grand unification theory.

Come learn about Nassim Haramein’s lifelong journey into the geometry of space-time, which has lead to a coherent understanding of the fundamental structure of the universe and our existence in it. In this presentation, Jamie Janover will take you on a journey through humanity’s evolution, exposing the changes necessary to produce a Unified Physics; a unification of not only the forces of nature, but also evolution and the occurrence of consciousness. Haramein's theory demonstrates as well a parallel between ancient codes in documents and monuments.

This all-encompassing theory may prove to be one of the most important discoveries of our time.

Below are links to Nassim's website and related media. Come experience a set of information that has the ability to really be life-changing when you land that YOU actually ARE an infinite being... and how you connect to everything... literally.
