MUSIC VIDEO for 'BLOODRAVE'
http://vimeo.com/21120852

DEATHFACE is the hive mind entity created by Johnny Love of Guns ‘N’ Bombs. It is the product of locking a group of sociopathic misanthropes into a basement studio with a supply of high-powered hallucinogenic substances and a pile of heavy bassline, dubstep and mid-West breakcore. DEATHFACE is the sound of a sonic teenage ear beating.

Named “Artist To Watch 2011” by Beatportal, Deathface (AKA Johnny Love and vocalist Adri Law) comes at you hard with the release of “Fall Of Man EP.”

Deathface's 2nd release on T&B has finally arrived! "Fall Of Man" EP dropped this past Tuesday and is available digitally everywhere in the world! Fall Of Man is a six-track EP inspired by Midwest hardcore of the 90’s and Magic the Gathering, woodland bonfire parties and white trash drug debauchery, Atari Teenage Riot and Aleister Crowley. Johnny’s rave roots are showcased on opening track “Blood Rave“; with a classic 303 acid line that runs head on into a wall of choppy breaks and heavy bass. As intense as this is, it does nothing to prepare you for what’s to come! The title track – “Fall Of Man” is pure black magic dubstep, the soundtrack to The Omen’s Damien Thorn and The Exorcist’s Regan MacNeil dropping 2C-B at Anton LaVey’s first rave. As the EP moves on, things get even harder-core with the roundhouse kick of “Gift Of Fury” and “Sick of It ” featuring vocals from Adri Law, Deathface’s intense new vocalist in the vein of Hanin Elias (Atari Teenage Riot) and Alice Glass (Crystal Castles).

Here's some of the reviews and support on this latest Deathface E.P.

"Gift of Fury is my shit!" - Diplo

"Sure as shit, it's DOPE, it will def get in there." - Bassnectar

"Go Johnny Go!!!!....full support from South America. Death to false metal!" - MIXHELL

"'Sick of it' remind me my old punk rock time(yes I did haha)...love this one!" - Mikix The Cat

"I feel like someone just ripped my face off and threw it in a blender with a microphone up to it andIi had headphones on that were connected to the mic. it was very enjoyable. This pretty nostalgic via Atari Teenage Riot days." - AC Slater

"Bloodrave is retarded sick. Higher States of consciousness meets dubcore assault! All these other ones are awesome too. Love the deathstep. Will rep." - Reid Speed

"This record has potential to start a fucking riot, deathface really has created his own subgenre!" - Flinch

"Hard shit. Bloodrave is def my fav!" - DZ

"HARD AS FUCK" - DJ Ayres

Now for some history…Johnny Love is one of the most provocative figures in dance music. A native of Southside Chicago, Johnny rose to infamy in his hometown in the early 2000’s throwing a series of events at The Jerkstore that shunned predictable-dance-rock for eclectic and loose cuts from minimal techno to French touch house. The parties got so wild that Love was imprisoned by the Chicago police on more than one occasion.

With things too hot in Chicago, Johnny moved to Los Angeles and formed hard-hitting electro-house duo Guns N’ Bombs who were quickly offered a contract by Kitsuné founder Gildas Loaec. After a vast amount of critical acclaim and the making of many friends, enemies and frenemies, Guns N’ Bombs disbanded in 2009, and Johnny decamped to a hideaway in Charlotte, NC to craft Deathface’s swift and deadly takeover, while working on various collaborations, including an amazing t-shirt through Mishka designed by Seattle’s death-rock-obsessed streetwear giants Actual Pain.

"Deathface is from Brooklyn New York...Put this kid on before The Prodigy and they'll find any excuse not to go on...Deathface transports hardcore rave into the next decade. Adrenaline driven....and trust me when I say this, it's not some paid for opinion which is included in some marketing budget. Awesome & dangerous...." - ALEC EMPIRE OF ATARI TEENAGE RIOT

After Years of studying production Software and growing up playing drums, Russell Gaskins III decided to start his production career. Starting off with making beat music mainly influenced by Idm artists like Aphex Twin and such, DOOMBOX was introduced to the sounds of Drum n Bass not soon after. Naturally being heavily active in the local hardcore and grindcore metal scene, the sounds of darker DNB became the forefront of his music, Which lead to him quickly Being pickup by Foulplay Records. Now with a couple of Digital Releases under His Belt and a Vinyl Release in spring 2008, He is really getting some heads turning. Getting playtime from the likes of Prolific, Spektrum, Sinner Inside, Mumblz, Titan Zero, KillSwitch, and Reid Speed Just to Name a few drum and bass acts. Along with that, His Interesting Mixing style and track selection will always keep the crowd on there feet and moving. Now he has moved on to the interest of the bassline, which shoved him deep into the Dubstep scene. Now releaseing tunes on Brotown Recordings and Betamorph along with upcoming releases on Adversion Recordings and Suicide Dubs, DOOMBOX has nowhere else to go but up….

DOWNLINK @ CLUB EUROPE

The Columbian Dubstep Cartel Presents:

~Downlink~[Kelowna,BC]
(Rottun/Circle)
25 year-old Downlink has been punishing dancefloors all over the planet with his heavy brand of dubstep. With roots in Jungle & DnB, he is no stranger to the vile side of subsonic dance music. Growing up in a cold industrial town in British Columbia, Canada, he was first introduced to dubstep in 2007 and soon after took to production. While maintaining an appreciation for sparse and laid-back dubstep, Downlink set out to explore a more frantic, adrenaline fuelled style, influenced by everything from heavy metal to astrophysics. His first two releases charted at #1 on several popular online distributors and soon he found his way onto Rottun Recordings which seemed a suiting place for his music. With the release of his "Ignition EP" he has gained DJ support from the likes of Excision, Datsik, Stenchman, Borgore, DZ, 16 Bit, Dieselboy, Evol Intent, Crookers and many more. Downlink is not one to be pigeon-holed and is constantly on a quest to evolve and refine his sound. With this in mind, one thing will always remain constant - a pure unadulterated heavy listening experience…

===========Swamp Foot (United Kingdom)============
www.myspace.com/swampfoot
Bio:
.... On record, the music is based around the talents of MC Longusto and DJ Weaver, long time partners and stalwarts of rap and electronica in the UK’s underground scenes. The Weaver is a drum n bass producer of ten years experience and a man with an unquestionable ear for excellence in electronic music. Credited with releases on Flex, Rinse Out and Hardleaders, he has several classic tracks to his name including Freaks 2000 and Satellites. He has co-run the Lab Logic record label with brother Stomp for several years, output from which has been aired on Radio One’s In The Jungle and Jon Peel and spun by every drum n bass stalwart worth naming.?This love of chunky beats and live or ambient based hooks gives the Swampfoot output an unmistakable flavour which transcends the usually staid and overused standards of both UK and US rap music.

========SATURDAY NIGHT/ MAIN STAGE=============
JAIK WILLIS (CHICAGO/ILLINIOS)

"Jaik is a hardcore troubador somewhere inbetween Steve Earle and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. He has wandered around the USA like a modern minstrel, surfing sofas, car camping, and paying dues to sing the blues. It is a high energy solo show featuring Jaik's horn-like voice darting around a blistering broken-string approach to his acoustic flying V guitar, with original songs that are accessible, and message driven" -
(Chicago Jams)

==========England Chambers Band==============
Decatur Illinois
An eccentric group of musicians crossing paths in the decaying, industrial city of Decatur, IL, the England Chambers Band are a breath of life and culture. The band was formed around the networks of local hippy pizza shop owner Neill Dresen still recovering after a 5 year tour following the Grateful Dead. Dresen plays slide guitar and facilitates the band in his early 20th century Victorian style mansion built by the England-Chambers family (hence the band name England Chambers). Dresen and eccentric musicians Mike Tasch and Shalon Walker join forces with Rock and roll guitarist and Decatur local Tyler Bundy and his associate in rock and country, Nick Rozanski, for a truly fresh musical experience. The band is fronted by Jen Hood and Olivia Fehrenbacher, the beautiful dualing divas.
Music inspirations include the Grateful Dead, Little Feat, Neil Young, Beatles, Black Crowes, Led Zeppelin, and the Band. The England Chambers sound upholds the rock and roll tradition while incorporating roots music like blues, folk, and country.

=============SEX FIST=======
(CHICAGO)
Guitarist Clutch Johnson and banjo player Chuck Oakton met each other in early 2001 when, during the talent portion of the Mr. Universe pageant, both contestants played the same song. The song was Bill Monroe's 'Real Life Blues' and, embarrassing a moment though it was, an instant friendship was formed. They began playing as a duo until out of spite and jealousy. Then in the summer of 2002 Jeffrey Chestnut, with whom Oakton had worked in the adult film 'Shotgun Charlie,' began sitting in on fiddle. Finally, in May 2003, bass fiddler Bradley Longwood blackmailed his way into the band and Sexfist was born. They have since taken Chicago by storm, amazing audiences with their high-energy, hard-driving picking and angelic harmony singing. Sexfist has won numerous awards and accolades including Third All-Time Highest Score on the Golden Tee game at the Oasis in Rogers Park, a citation in June 2005 by Officer Reginald A. White for disorderly conduct, and a 2007 Franky nomination for Best Supporting Actress. The band is not currently touring in support of its self-titled debut CD as they are not legally allowed to operate motor vehicles. You can however see the Fist live and in person every Tuesday night at Jerry's in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago.

Clutch Johnson: Guitar
Bradley Longwood: Bass
Jeffrey Chestnut: Fiddle
Chuck Oakton: Banjo

===========MESSY JIVERSON==============
(ST. LOUIS)
From the stacks of basement record collections and the soundtracks of 70’s and 80’s era cult films comes Messy Jiverson, a blast from the past that’s timelessly vintage, yet modernly applicable all in the same. Inspired by the sounds of dusty vinyl, dirty guitars, dangerous drum breaks and dynamic synthesizers, the band explores elements of funk, hip-hop, rock and soul in their completely original style. Heavily influenced by the loop digga movement and decades of musical history, Messy Jiverson is psychedelic rock with a hip-hop flair and hard dance beats.

Hailing from the Midwest, the band quickly formed after a group collaboration of several accomplished musicians came together in the summer of 2007. With the desire to make a serious musical statement, Messy Jiverson’s conceptual sounds feverishly attracted a young, hip, St. Louis crowd, mesmerized by body moving beats amid mind bending instrumental compositions. On the strength of their latest album, ROWC, the group plays to a loyal following night in and night out.

Priding themselves on their musicianship, the Messy Jiverson sound is the painstaking combination of vintage keyboards, drums, tube amplifiers and tape delays. Their love of their instruments, remarkable attention to tone, and practice of recording live to analog tape adds to the group’s signature style. Self proclaimed recording junkies; the band has released three records since 2008 of purely innovative Messy Jiverson psychedelia. Over the last few years they’ve shared the stage with such eclectic artists as Pnuma Trio, Edan, EOTO, Family Groove Co., Euforquestra, Public Property, and Madahoochi.

With an Electro EP in the works, constant Hip Hop production and even plans in Jungle, 2010 will no doubt be the year of the TrillAfter Cementing their legacy with 30 years of combined musical experience and over 10 Vinyl releases and 50 Digital releases, they push to the future with each new synth, drum and metallic boom chosen earfully to decorate or destroy a track. Countless mind blowing shows, world tours and respected mind numbing original sounds confirm the drive and passion that rivals any other in the game.

DEEJ
(Betamorph Recordings, FurtherSound)
Jacksonville, FL

Drawing his eclectic influences from across Drum and Bass, Breaks, House and even a little Pink Floyd, Betamorph has given DeeJ the perfect platform to unleash his vision of tomorrow’s noise on both national and global levels. With Betamorph growing exponentially, 2009 was a year for traveling, marketing the Betamorph name and dropping tunes in Austin, Houston, Louisiana, Chicago, Orlando, and at least several times in Atlanta. Highlights included DeeJ’s opening set for Scuba in May 2009, the honor of opening for DZ’s Chicago show in August, as well as an epic headlining show for Ghost Industries in September called ESP.

In 2010, DeeJ took this momentum to a new level playing alongside DZ, Noah D, Roommate, Ultrablack, Total Recall, Metaphase, Hulk and a list of other influential acts. Headlining shows in Miami (WMC), Chicago, Grand Rapids, Atlanta, New Mexico, Kansas, Jacksonville, Kansas City, St. Louis and Detroit.

2011 has been no exception to this trend as Betamorph has reached new heights. Summer of 2011 will no doubt be a continuation of this facemelting campaign. Represented by FurtherSound Management, DeeJ is already cementing his place alongside the finest Dubstep purveyors.

JEEKOOS
(Dubfront, WNUR 89.3 FM, FurtherSound)
Chicago, IL ***FIRST STL APPEARANCE***

Jeekoos (the English spelling of the Polish word Dzikus, loosely translated as “a feral woodsman”)

Jeekoos’ love for music started with bands like Kiss, Deep Purple, Motorhead etc. Born in Poland, influenced by his cousin who played bass in various bands, he wanted to go the same route. It wasn’t until he migrated to the U.S. that he finally got a bass guitar of his own and started playing in punk/metal bands around Chicago. Enjoying some electronic music here and there, nothing was stimulating his musical taste quite enough. Always favoring the more intense sound, a house party at the turn of the century introduced Jeekoos to jungle/drum and bass. He fell in love. While already producing hip hop and breakbeat type madness in the late 90′s, he started fusing more DnB style intensity into his productions, which came very naturally and his tracks started getting some radio play on WNUR 89.3fm in Chicago.

A little over a decade ago, Jeekoos joined the Part Time Sucker Radio crew, delivering bass music selections to ever growing audiences throughout the world via various radio stations; WNUR 89.3fm, www.dnbradio.com, www.destroyer.net and eventually www.dubstep.fm.and ran the show alone for a few years, forcing him to start DJing, rapidly expanding his music collection to come fresh on weekly basis.

At the end of 2008, Jeekoos was offered an hour of saturday night airtime on KAKU radio, 88.5fm on the island of Maui, creating SUB808 radio that featured his mixes as well as countless guests from around the globe. The program lasted about a year, when management decided to kick off all of the programming and play Hawaiian and country music only.
A part owner of Dubfront Records, creator and webmaster of Midwest Dubstep Forum, he also supports the scene with gnarly event fliers, and regularly destroys subwoofers at clubs and events all over the country. Jeekoos has supported acts ranging from Kid Cudi to Datsik and everywhere in between.

Jeekoos is influenced by pretty much everything around him, art, people or situations, loving the constant progression of the sound, music has always played a major role in his life and it nothing suggest that it will stop anytime soon…

*** CONNECTOR, NASTY RUMOR & LOYAL FAMILY Present ***

____ RESO___
Dubstep/ Breaks/ Grime

Grotty, aggy, dark, brutal are all words used to describe the music of 27 year-old Alex Melia aka Reso, which is sometimes at odds with his boyhood dream of drumming in a jazz band. This frustrated sticks man, who has been hitting the skins for a number of bands including the ubiquitous Jamie Woon, instead pours his frenetic energy and love of breakbeats into his dubstep/breaks/ techno productions.
A versatile producer and gifted DJ, Reso is a rising star, gaining worldwide notoriety for his technoid inspired productions which often transcends the dubstep tag that many have easily slotted him into. From the chugging metal guitars of Metal Slug, via the pulsating techno echoes of Identity, and into the bowels of the haunting, filtered sub bass workout of Holograms, Reso’s aural identity is a densely layered, high octane tapestry, rich with musical texture and colour, which really sets him apart from the minimal sparseness of many of his fellow producers.
Mary Anne Hobbs has been a fervent supporter of the young producer, commissioning a special 20-minute mix for her Radio One Breezeblock show back in January 2007. Reso has worked with Burial, engineering his critically acclaimed remix of Jamie Woon’s Wayfaring Stranger. More recently Reso’s remix of The Dubstitutes 2 Faced Rasta (Dubting) has been gathering strong support from some of Dubstep’s key players such as Benga, N-Type, Walsh and Rusko. With a busy DJ schedule, Reso has been up and down the country smashing dance floors from Newcastle to Nottingham and London, whilst regularly hitting mainland Europe. With a number of key releases on Storming Productions, Destructive, Urban Graffiti and Skud hitting the shops over the next three months, Reso is definitely one to catch before he blows up!

Featuring OUTSTANDING performances by:

************************************
Miles Dyson // Germany

http://www.plasmapool.com/
http://www.facebook.com/milesdysonmusic

************************************
Miles Dyson is now known amongst the elite producers in the world. With his brand of dirty grooves, grinding electro and sexy house beats he’s infected clubland all over the world. His services are hot in demand from everybody including Ministry of Sound, EMI and Sony with his ability to take any song and make it a hit.

In the early Nineties, he started his career in one of the oldest electronic music clubs in Germany, Abby. He was a child prodigy at just 13 years old. Not even old enough to legally to drink he took on his first club residency at 15. By 16 he was performing on his own float playing in front of 400,000 screaming fans at the famous Zurich Street Parade. In 1999 he won the European DJ-championships and that was just the beginning…With fame slowly catching up to him, Miles started his first label “Plasmapool Productions" in 2002. In 2003 he occupied the number 1 position of the Swiss DJ charts for 30 weeks with multiple releases. It was therefore fitting that later in the year, Miles was honoured with the award "Producer of the Year 2003" in Switzerland.

Since this time he has built a small Empire with his own publishing and production company (Plasmapool media entertainment), digital distribution company (plasmapool.digital), more than 50 exclusive international artists signed and 12 labels (12"boot, 12.inch.recordings, Aelaektropopp, Boyztownrec, Houserecordings, International Porn Recordings, Plasmapool Productions, PlasmaUS, PlasmaWhite, plasma.digital, Raise33 and Suicide Robot)! Miles Dyson and Plasmapool are becoming one of the most successful institutions in the music scene. Plasmapool is now one of Europe's leading vinyl and mp3 selling companies. All this success has led to him being labelled the CEO of house music!

Miles Dyson churns out hit after hit with every release of his this year topping charts. His tune “Anthem” literally became one of the biggest anthems of 2008. Other 2008 chart smashers include “Minimal My Ass” and his remixes of Mr Timothy’s “Beat of the Drum”, 30Hz’s “Daddio” and Slyde’s “My Frequency”. Toolroom Record’s super producer Dave Spoon has labelled him one of the most exciting new electro-house producers to emerge over the last couple of years.

Nocturnal Magazine
“a sick ass techno-house producer whose eclectic bootleg/remix/hammers keep filling my record bag with goodness. Miles' richness exudes through the quality of his arrangements & the texture of his sound. Your ready-for-anything dancefloor will thank you later.”

************************************
Justin Martin // San Francisco

http://dirtybirdrecords.com/
************************************
As the late Oscar Wilde once said: life is too important to be taken seriously, an ethos that Justin Martin is sticking with despite achieving soaring success over the last six years as a producer and international DJ.
Justin initially pricked the ears of the electronic music community in 2003 with his first record The Sad Piano on Ben Watts Buzzin Fly label. Everyone in the electronic music food chain got involved, from the A list DJs like Derrick Carter and Pete Tong that were playing the track, to the international music press that were raving about it. It even translated to the German underground, with Poker Flat licensing it for Steve Bugs Bugnology compilation. Like someone that goes bowling for the first time and gets five strikes and a turkey, Justin couldnt really have hoped for a better entrance.
Feeding off the energy of the San Francisco underground and mentored by fellow super producer Claude Vonstroke, Justin was intrinsically involved with the development of dirtybird records, appearing on its first four releases. Justin was soon ready to take flight, releasing a string of solo EPs which flaunted a very unique sound and garnered still more respect among fellow DJS and heavyweights of the scene.
As well as his formidable arsenal of original productions, Justin is now equally known for his collaborations with his brother Christian as The Martin Brothers, producing such hip-hop influenced hits as Stoopit and Dum. Justin has also made his mark remixing such bona fide classics as Radioheads Nude, Marshall Jeffersons Mushrooms, and TGs Revox, firmly establishing himself as the man to make big tracks even bigger.
Demand for Justins skills behind the decks has skyrocketed with his bookings schedule basically crammed to capacity for the next 4 months. With bookings confirmed everywhere from Exit Festival (Belgrade), to Sonar (Barcelona) to Panorama Bar (Berlin), Justins diary is reading like the dreams of a professional raver. Stateside he continues to be a regular fixture at the dirtybird events in San Francisco and beyond.
Further nods to his skills as a DJ and tastemaker are apparent in his growing discography of mix compilations, most notably his own Chaos Restored mix series on the prestigious Buzzin Fly label.
Music journalists typically describe Justins sound as melodic and tough with his music encapsulating both melody and emotional depth yet always with enough undeniable ass shaking properties to translate to the floor.
Im always trying to find music for my DJ sets that rattles sound systems, but still has enough melody and interesting texture to expand your mind even if youre sitting at home on a snowy or rainy day.
In 2009, production wise Justin has a few EPs scheduled to drop on dirtybird, a remix for Freerange, and a DJ mix for Ministry of Sounds Underground series compilation. He remains as enthusiastic as ever to be involved in the scene. When recently questioned by Resident Advisor on what hed be doing if he wasnt a DJ or dance music producer he just replied: Wishing I was a DJ or music producer.
By all accounts its hard to tell him to wipe that smile off his face.

Aaren San // Germany

http://www.plasmapool.com/
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Aaren-San/44821632232

************************************

Plasmapool Productions is one of the largest electro-tech label from germany. Aaren San is a flagship artist and convinced in clear path with grandiose sets all over Plasmapool releases of course as well as the sound of his own definition. Musicaly either electro, techno, minimal, maximal, deephouse or dub, everything is combined with a unbelievebale show. "Good music doesn't need style definition" that's the slogan of Aaren's sets. But he's not only performing good music, even he is the owner of 'Aelaektropopp Music' and is releasing solid records after record. A really busy guy these days. As a producer he's meanwhile an aboslute topact of Web-Records, Beatport, Trackitdown and many other big webstores worldwide, but he's showing us another side. Trash is the receipt and we must admit that his productions are always good for "crazy" surprises and do let the fans hearts beat faster. His latest EP
'Discotech' is a huge step forward into future sound. Together with Miles Dyson he founded the international known dj/producer team 'The
Soulbrothers' and had massive successes around the globe. 'The Bomb' startet overall with #1 for over two months! Watching Aaren San performing behind the decks is an unbelieveable
rush - combined with groovy dj-sets an unforgettable multisensuous experience. He knows how to rock like an artist should do. No deadlock - always moving forward with groovy electronic beats. Remix orders and bookings from all over the world are making this special artist the more rare and busy. This year he's starting his special Tour in Brazil.
"His engrossing, constantly evolving way of structuring a tune keeps you hooked - til the end and leaves you
begging for more." - gurn UK Magazine

J.Rabbit // New York City

http://www.myspace.com/jrabbit
************************************
J. Rabbit has earned his way into the ranks of the Drum and Bass scene since his start in 2001. He has always been drawn to music, playing bass, guitar and piano throughout his childhood and high school years. With his musical background behind him and a new era of electronic music forming, he decided to move to New York City in 2005 which warmly welcomed his bass-pumping style.

Shortly after moving to New York from California, J. Rabbit, or Jeff came into contact with such individuals as Jen Mas and DJ Psynikill, and after much hard work and dedication he was offered a spot in the NYC veteran crew Vitus Productions. He also started his own crew, Beats Anonymous Productions, with local DnB artist Funktipuss Jones. Their crew hosted a free Drum and Bass weekly in the heart of NYC, Times Square, from late ’06 to early ’07. Jeff has also been receiving support from other big names in the scene – DJ Dara, Terravita, Odi, DJ DB, and more.

Starting out playing the dark tech style of DnB, he has evolved towards other styles such as dance floor, jump-up, wobble and dub. He has also been writing tunes for over 2 years now and is showing signs of a very promising future. He can be caught playing shows all across the Northeast United States and most recently Canada.

With a history of throwing down the best dance floor rhythms, he is no doubt one artist that will rock the dance floor. He has also been spending every available hour in the studio perfecting that soon to be infamous J. Rabbit sound, and we look forward to seeing many releases from this rising star in the future!

Danny the Wildchild // Chicago

http://www.premierartistgroup.com/
http://www.myspace.com/dannythewildchild
http://www.twitter.com/Danny_Wildchild
***********************************
Danny the Wildchild aka Daniel Garcia was born on the South side of Chicago in 1977. The brother of a once aspiring DJ, he keenly watched and quickly learned the tricks of the trade. Danny began djing at age nine soon surpassing his brother's abilities and eventually inherited his equipment and records. At twelve, Danny entered a Chicago area contest for young DJ's and won. He took home that fifty-dollar prize and was called "The Wildchild" from that day forward. Although Danny's roots were as a Hip-Hop DJ, he was eventually introduced into the Chicago Rave scene and to the world of drum-n-bass. He enjoyed this new form of music, but also loved hip-hop and began to creatively blend the two genres creating a unique sound of his own. As Danny's turntable talents grew, he began to incorporate scratching and DMC style battle tricks into his Drum-n-Bass sets. His precise mixing skills and unique style and sound gave him the opportunity to bring Drum-n-Bass into the DMC and Hip-Hop scenes. Danny's recognition has earned him a collection of praises from domestic and international magazines such as Mixer, Thousand Words, Faqt, and Lotus to name just a few. Danny was also featured as one of the people making waves in the scene in Urb's Next 100 Artists to Watch Issue. Today Danny has become one of the most valued U.S. Drum-n-Bass DJ's. His unique blends of jungle and Hip-Hop beats and amazing scratching and beat juggling have proved to be show stopping. His talents have brought him to perform in venues worldwide and opening up for such acts as Eminem, Method Man, The Jungle Brothers, De La Soul, Moby, Goldie, MixMaster Mike and The Pharcyde. Danny also toured extensively throughout Europe with DJ Q-bert in 2002 (see djqbert.com). Although most weekends he is on the road, he still has time to host the 12midnight slot on Chicago's Alternative Radio station Q101FM and is gotten back in the studio. In March, the Wildchild released a follow-up to his 1999 12" release on Bad Boy Bill's Canvas label. His first effort at mix CD culminated in the release of "Danny The Wildchild: Booked" (March 2001). The Wildchild's was the first in a series of "Booked" CD's from Chicago's Strictly Hype Recordings. This was followed by the successful release of his latest CD in 2002 on Surge Recordings entitled "Fully Sorted"...

SMASH! feat. HULK and DJ SOLO

The Columbian Dubstep Cartel and Hy-Tekk Productions present:

"SMASH! FEAT. HULK AND DJ SOLO"

---------------------
FEATURING
---------------------

~HULK~
[Brotown/Play Me/Shift Rec/Dubstepnostra | Los Angeles, CA]

Hulk is a collaboration of the minds of two creative minds sharing a similar enthusiasm for heavy driven bass music, Claw & Richie August. After meeting at the 2009 Winter Music Conference in Miami, they began to send files back and forth to collaborate on projects in Dubstep, Hip Hop and Electro. Since the inception, Hulk has been catching the eyes and ears of artists such as Reid Speed, Reso, Mark Instinct, Ultrablack, TrillBass, High Rankin and DJ Lord of Public Enemy, just to name a few.

Their first official release dropped on Reid Speeds Play Me Records as a Beatport exclusive in January of 2010, containing the tracks, See You and Angeldust with official remixes by King from Las Vegas. Hulk has also recently launched their own record label, BroTown Records with the help of Symphonic Distribution. This new venture already has the scene begging for the slated releases to drop, with songs by Claw and Richie August along BroTown artists Vaski, Druley, Mark Instinct, Symbl and their own moniker Hulk. Get ready for the biggest bass in the game, as Hulk is here to SMASH!

Claw emerged in Houston, Texas in 1999, at the age of 15. He was well-received from the start, making contacts with the local rave DJs of the time. By the time he was 16, he was playing at some of Houstons bigger underground parties and weekly events. After graduating high school, he moved to Florida to pursue music as a profession and began playing at weekly events. After finishing his music engineering studies at Fullsail in Orlando, Claw made his way across New York working at numerous studios with various engineers and producers. He then moved to Las Vegas to pursue his record label with Trillbass, which he co-founded. Claw also just did an official Dubstep remix for Wu-Tang that debuted at # 7 on the ITunes Hip Hop chart, and is currently back living in NY to run his art gallery and record label ventures.

Richie August started out mixing Drum & Bass and Hip Hop in the south-side of Chicago in 1998. He began producing his own tracks in 2000, alongside Chicago Hip Hop artist, “Skope The Lyrical MC. In early 2008, Richie got his first taste of dubstep and It didnt take him long before he was refining his sound and signing his first EP of tracks to Betamorph Recordings. The Death Proof EP came out and solidified Richie and his unique blend of teeth rattling bass and Hip Hop edge in the Dubstep community. As soon as you hear a new Richie August tune, you know its his. Since then, hes been making dancefloor smashing hits, remixing, collaborating, and is up to over 15 releases on various labels, with no slowing down in sight.

~DJ SOLO~
[Fresh-Kid.com/ Chalice Dubs/ Soul Assassins | Chicago, IL]

DJ SOLO is a Chicago based dj/producer/emcee, multi-media artist, and mad scientist! Currently making big waves in the dubstep and bass music scene, SOLO continually raises the bar with turntablism and trick mixing techniques, high energy live performances, original bootlegs and remixes, and has recently returned as an emcee, rapping over dubstep and drum n bass beats.
As a rapper since the age of 7, and a musician/producer since the age of 13, SOLO has gone from of making bedroom boombox recordings, to producing original music for acts such as GZA, B-Real, Maroon 5, Matt & Kim, and Planet Asia, touring the world as an opening dj for DJ Muggs of Cypress Hill, Everlast from House of Pain, and GZA & Killah Priest from Wu-Tang Clan, and releasing an ongoing series of themed and eclectic mixtapes.
Relocating to Los Angeles from Chicago in 2003, DJ SOLO became part of the LA based artist crew, Soul Assassins (Cypress Hill, House of Pain, Mr. Cartoon, Estevan Oriol). Along with touring, DJing, and producing music for their roster of artists, he was also the head graphic designer, helping the company launch a new look in print and on the web, as well as creating original graphics for their t-shirt line, hats, cd covers, and collaborative pieces with brands such as Diamond Supply, Circa, and La Coka Nostra. While there, he hosted a weekly two-hour live internet TV show called “40s & Blunts” that broadcast every week from DJ Muggs’ studio, featuring live mixes of brand new music, with guest rappers and DJs ranging from local talent to LA legends.
During his time in LA, SOLO was turned on to the emerging genre of dubstep coming mainly from the UK and select pockets of the US. Noticing quickly that this genre would allow him to express the full range of his musical palette and eclectic tastes, he shifted gears away from hip-hop and into bass music. In a short amount of time, he had adapted his hip-hop/party rocking style of djing to dubstep and electronic music, and continues to explore and create within those genres. Since returning to Chicago in late 2009, he has released several dubstep mixes, original productions and remixes, performs all over Chicago and the Midwest, helped create and launch the Chicago Bass Culture crew “Fresh Kid”, featured regularly on dubstep.fm radio’s “The Dented Sessions” as well as their monthly bass music night, and continues to bring you the finest quality music, videos, and no-holds-barred dj sets!!

Loyal Mardi Gras Costume Ball starring EOTO @ 2720 Cherokee

Join us Saturday March 5th @ 2720 Cherokee for a Mardi Gras Costume Ball starring EOTO, Spankalicious, Quasar Camp & more!

TWO LEVELS
TWO STAGES
COSTUME CONTEST

Loyal Family & 4sho present...

<< EOTO >>
Live Electro / Dubstep / Improv
http://myspace.com/eotomusic

As electronic influences continue to penetrate the live rock, jazz, and jam ethos, one band consistently rises to the top, bringing together fans from across the musical spectrum. EOTO crisscrosses the country blowing out basement dives, packed theaters, and stages under the stars. Check your festival schedules: this 100% improvised dubstep/breakbeat/house/drum & bass/trip-hop duo is the premier late-night party in the country.

Throbbing bass and thudding beats are the signatures of this project from drummers Michael Travis and Jason Hann. Born out of their shared love of electronic dance music, EOTO’s M.O. is to take the free-wheeling party vibe of a DJ set to the next level by using organic instruments, innovative performance technology, and uncharted musical exploration. Live drums, guitars, and keys, and vocals are mixed, remixed, and sampled on the fly using cutting-edge programs. This is all done without a script, and without a net.

<< Spankalicious >>
Psychedelic / Bounce / Dub
http://spankalicious.com/

Spankalicious is bounce. Making his mark on the electronic music scene in the Midwest with the high energy that he brings to the stage, Spankalicious creates the vibe needed to get the rage started! Kevin Moore (aka: Spankalicious) is currently living here in St. Louis. Spank comes from an extensive background in rudimental percussion/drumming, which has allowed him to read rhythms inside and out, shown through scratching, drumming, as well as seamlessly blending and mixing - Spankalicious thrives on taking the crowd on a journey.
