DEATHFACE is the hive mind entity created by Johnny Love of Guns ‘N’ Bombs. It is the product of locking a group of sociopathic misanthropes into a basement studio with a supply of high-powered hallucinogenic substances and a pile of heavy bassline, dubstep and mid-West breakcore. DEATHFACE is the sound of a sonic teenage ear beating.

Named “Artist To Watch 2011” by Beatportal, Deathface (AKA Johnny Love and vocalist Adri Law) comes at you hard with the release of “Fall Of Man EP.”

Deathface's 2nd release on T&B has finally arrived! "Fall Of Man" EP dropped this past Tuesday and is available digitally everywhere in the world! Fall Of Man is a six-track EP inspired by Midwest hardcore of the 90’s and Magic the Gathering, woodland bonfire parties and white trash drug debauchery, Atari Teenage Riot and Aleister Crowley. Johnny’s rave roots are showcased on opening track “Blood Rave“; with a classic 303 acid line that runs head on into a wall of choppy breaks and heavy bass. As intense as this is, it does nothing to prepare you for what’s to come! The title track – “Fall Of Man” is pure black magic dubstep, the soundtrack to The Omen’s Damien Thorn and The Exorcist’s Regan MacNeil dropping 2C-B at Anton LaVey’s first rave. As the EP moves on, things get even harder-core with the roundhouse kick of “Gift Of Fury” and “Sick of It ” featuring vocals from Adri Law, Deathface’s intense new vocalist in the vein of Hanin Elias (Atari Teenage Riot) and Alice Glass (Crystal Castles).

Here's some of the reviews and support on this latest Deathface E.P.

"Gift of Fury is my shit!" - Diplo

"Sure as shit, it's DOPE, it will def get in there." - Bassnectar

"Go Johnny Go!!!!....full support from South America. Death to false metal!" - MIXHELL

"'Sick of it' remind me my old punk rock time(yes I did haha)...love this one!" - Mikix The Cat

"I feel like someone just ripped my face off and threw it in a blender with a microphone up to it andIi had headphones on that were connected to the mic. it was very enjoyable. This pretty nostalgic via Atari Teenage Riot days." - AC Slater

"Bloodrave is retarded sick. Higher States of consciousness meets dubcore assault! All these other ones are awesome too. Love the deathstep. Will rep." - Reid Speed

"This record has potential to start a fucking riot, deathface really has created his own subgenre!" - Flinch

"Hard shit. Bloodrave is def my fav!" - DZ

"HARD AS FUCK" - DJ Ayres

Now for some history…Johnny Love is one of the most provocative figures in dance music. A native of Southside Chicago, Johnny rose to infamy in his hometown in the early 2000’s throwing a series of events at The Jerkstore that shunned predictable-dance-rock for eclectic and loose cuts from minimal techno to French touch house. The parties got so wild that Love was imprisoned by the Chicago police on more than one occasion.

With things too hot in Chicago, Johnny moved to Los Angeles and formed hard-hitting electro-house duo Guns N’ Bombs who were quickly offered a contract by Kitsuné founder Gildas Loaec. After a vast amount of critical acclaim and the making of many friends, enemies and frenemies, Guns N’ Bombs disbanded in 2009, and Johnny decamped to a hideaway in Charlotte, NC to craft Deathface’s swift and deadly takeover, while working on various collaborations, including an amazing t-shirt through Mishka designed by Seattle’s death-rock-obsessed streetwear giants Actual Pain.

"Deathface is from Brooklyn New York...Put this kid on before The Prodigy and they'll find any excuse not to go on...Deathface transports hardcore rave into the next decade. Adrenaline driven....and trust me when I say this, it's not some paid for opinion which is included in some marketing budget. Awesome & dangerous...." - ALEC EMPIRE OF ATARI TEENAGE RIOT

After Years of studying production Software and growing up playing drums, Russell Gaskins III decided to start his production career. Starting off with making beat music mainly influenced by Idm artists like Aphex Twin and such, DOOMBOX was introduced to the sounds of Drum n Bass not soon after. Naturally being heavily active in the local hardcore and grindcore metal scene, the sounds of darker DNB became the forefront of his music, Which lead to him quickly Being pickup by Foulplay Records. Now with a couple of Digital Releases under His Belt and a Vinyl Release in spring 2008, He is really getting some heads turning. Getting playtime from the likes of Prolific, Spektrum, Sinner Inside, Mumblz, Titan Zero, KillSwitch, and Reid Speed Just to Name a few drum and bass acts. Along with that, His Interesting Mixing style and track selection will always keep the crowd on there feet and moving. Now he has moved on to the interest of the bassline, which shoved him deep into the Dubstep scene. Now releaseing tunes on Brotown Recordings and Betamorph along with upcoming releases on Adversion Recordings and Suicide Dubs, DOOMBOX has nowhere else to go but up….
